The premise of the project is to promote and foster a Toolkit of resources that will allow different communities who are ‘at risk’ of climate distress, in addition to an array of climate-related emotions, to explore creative ways to think about, discuss, and process the emotional effects of climate crisis.
Built on the work of 10 artists and academics, this toolkit utilises various mediums, processes, and foundations to nurture and advance these discussions and reflections in feasible, accessible and meaningful ways. Ultimately, this Toolkit aims to increase individual resilience and community empowerment by helping people to reflect on and process climate emotions through creative educational resources.
We invite you to discuss, learn and create, as well as build confidence in using the Toolkit in everyday life. We encourage you to integrate creative practice into your routine to ease climate anxiety and as a way to explore climate issues with your families/peers/colleagues/classrooms.
We hope this Toolkit supports you in building sustainable emotional habits that make climate engagement both manageable and meaningful.
